Job Description & Role Requirements

Location: This position is based in New York, NY, and expected to report in-person once it is safe to do so in the upcoming organizational fiscal (or program) year, July 2021-June 2022. INYC is committed to following the safety guidelines of the CDC to determine when it will be safe to begin reporting to in-person activities. 

Position Type: Part Time (5-7 hours per week)

Compensation: $20.00/hour; optional 401k; professional development funds; mental health support; no health insurance coverage at this time

Prerequisite: To be considered for this role, you must have been with IntegrateNYC as a previous Director, Lead, or Delegate.

The Role

The key responsibilities of a Director revolve around running and organizing strategies for campaigns and representing INYC in different spaces. This work ranges from being an active voice in meetings (both internal and external) to working to complete campaign goals. As a Director you would also be creating and maintaining partnerships along with your teammates on IntegrateNYC's behalf. Directors are responsible for building relationships internally, and inspiring external people to engage with the organization. They are supported by the Executive Directors and adult coaches who develop and support individual growth.


The Requirements

  • Team wide meetings, twice a week (Tuesdays, - 4:00 - 5:30 and Fridays, 4:00 - 5:30)

  • Please note that this list does not fully reflect all of the meetings you will be attending throughout the year. These are the consistent meetings we know of.

Candidates who move on to the next step will meet with an intergenerational group of our team for a “Meeterview” - a meeting meets interview - where we will get to know each other better. Final offers will be made after all eligible candidates have completed their Meeterview.
