Black Lives Prayer

Melanin rich ageless skin they envy

Descendants of Kings and Queens 

Oppressed and repressed constantly 

Systematically-

Racially-

Indifferences- 

It is important to heal,

It is important to laugh, 

It is important to cry,

And feel, 

And grow.

Black men I love you —I pray for your safety,healing and strength,because you are deemed a THREAT FOR BREATHING . Because you're so strong and feared they beat on you. I know that you're hurting, you're running because you're scared.One day we won't have to run anymore. I love you. 

 Black women I love you— I pray for your wellbeing, safety, security,and  growth, because we are subjected to sexual threats, racial indifference, and when we stand up for ourselves we are ANGRY BLACK WOMEN but mama’ please fight, keep fighting.It’ll get better. I love you 

Black people I love you —WE MAKE THIS WORLD FLOURISH, I pray that one day our culture isn’t ripped away and we get our credit, I pray for the day that black children can live and mothers don’t have to worry. 

My people rejoice,

Because no matter how hard they try 

We will never be defeated.

We are Strong.

We are Powerful.

We are BLACK!
